Rec Therapy Now, LLC has been in business for 16 years.
You will have the flexibility of setting your own schedule with each client.
We service clients with developmental disabilities in their home and in the community.
The job description is as follows:
To facilitate, development and independence in a one on one, in home or community setting, of clients who have mental and developmental disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed recreational therapy.
Duties:
To assess patients needs, formulate goals and objectives, submit plan of care to address needs, implement therapeutic treatments and complete necessary paperwork.
Help clients improve quality of life through increased independence.
Promote maximum independence by selecting and constructing therapies according to physical capacity, emotional maturity, developmental stages and interests.
Assure coordination of care by designing independent home exercises, instructing patients, family members and other team members and recommending and/or providing assistive equipment.
Document patient care services by submitting progress notes in a timely manner.
Evaluate patient progress by observing, noting and evaluating outcomes of recreational therapy interventions.
Recommend changes in treatment on quarterly/ yearly reports to adjust and modify client treatment as needed.
Maintain client confidentiality and protect organization operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Hours are flexible, afternoons, evenings, weekends you set your schedule.
Must have a CTRS, valid driver's license with proof of insurance, basic water rescue certification and CPR.
